The Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna of the Year Award This is the highest award given by the Alumni Association. It recognizes an alumnus/alumna who has achieved distinction in their chosen field of employment and community and given of themselves in service to Ashland University. The Professor Raymond W. Bixler Award recognizes excellence in education. It may be given to a member of the Ashland University faculty, regardless of his or her alma mater, or to an Ashland University alumnus/alumna who has achieved distinction at any level in education. The Young Alumnus/Alumna Award is given to an alumnus/alumna under the age of 36 who has made notable achievements in a chosen field and has given faithful service to Ashland University. Click here to nominate someone for The Young Alumnus/Alumna Award.
The Special Achievement Award is given to an alumnus/alumna over the age of 36 who has proven leadership abilities, excelled in his or her chosen field, and has given faithful service to Ashland University and the community. Click here to nominate someone for The Special Achievement Award.
The Honorary Alumnus/Alumna Award is given to a friend of the University who did not graduate from Ashland University and has demonstrated dedication to the beliefs and values of the University through service and philanthropy. Click here to nominate someone for The Honorary Alumnus/Alumna Award.
The Dr. Glenn L. Clayton Award will be given each year to an individual who either is employed or is retired from Ashland College/University. The recipient must demonstrate the qualities of a committed and dedicated leader such as Dr. Clayton and should exhibit the mission of the University through their actions both inside and outside the campus environment and go above and beyond by representing the University in a positive manner in all aspects.
