One of the joys of having our office housed in Founders Hall is the great view of the Quad! I open my window and I’m able to hear the familiar sounds of students taking in the great spring weather. Some are studying, some playing volleyball or frisbee, others just soaking up the sun with friends.
Our President and his wife, Fred and Holly Finks have been visiting alumni all across the country. Fred will be visiting Taiwan, Korea and Japan in June. Together, we've met new alumni in Florida, Arizona, New York City, Atlanta, Maryland, and California. Locally, we've celebrated with Lorain County Community College 25 years of partnership and we were in Columbus at Alumni Board member, Debbie Karl's home for an alumni social.
It's hard to believe that another year has gone by! The campus is ready for Commencement, the tulips are beautiful and the grounds are a sight to see! Every morning, as I walk down the Avenue of the Eagles, I give thanks for Ashland University and our students.
I hope you can join us this year for Homecoming, as we come together to give thanks for all that Ashland stands for. We will celebrate together the Ashland Spirit that lives within all of us.
